TuneIn Radio Stops Streaming After a Minute Or So
I had to convince my Android phone that it had permission to let TuneIn Radio continue to stream music even after my screen went dark from inactivity. I don’t know what changed recently that caused me to need to do this, but I needed to do it.
My Solution
Right now, my Galaxy Note 8 runs Android 9, so these instructions might have become out of date by the time you read this. I hope they still help you.
- Open Android settings.
- Choose Apps.
- Choose the app TuneIn Radio.
- In the Usage section, choose Battery.
- Notice that the option Allow background activity is disabled. Enable it.
That’s it! Now TuneIn Radio continues to run in the background, even when I lock my device.
